Good Friday 6th April All Age opportunity to explore Good Friday with the creative arts – music, cooking, woodwork, crafts and storytelling St Mary’s Uffculme 10.00am -12.30am Could helpers come at 9.00am to set up please. (There is a service of reflections and readings from 11.00am -12.00 at St Mary’s Willand 2-3pm ‘Holy hour at the cross’ Kentisbeare 4.30 service at URC church in Uffculme Holy Saturday Easter Saturday continental breakfast for CHAT @ Jenny and Tony Miller’s home 6 Cherry Close Willand, EX15 2sQ T: 01884 33884 from 9.30am – 12.00midday Night Prayer and youth sleepover at The Vicarage from 4pm Night walk starting at 7pm in the church with a clip from BBC1’s version of The Passion and a night walk carrying the crosses and camp fire.
Easter Sunday 7th April at St Mary’s Uffculme There will be a baptism at 8.00am in the river at the bottom of Bridge Street followed by decorating the Easter cross and refreshments in the Vicarage 8.00am Holy Communion BCP @ St Mary’s 11am Communion with an Easter egg hunt!
Easter Monday 8th April Mission community walk starting from Kentisbeare Village Hall Car Park at 2.15pm The full walk will be 4 miles, along footpaths, farmland, bridleways and quiet roads. It is over fairly level terrain with three stiles. There are several places where you can shorten your walk if you think that the distance is too much for you or your children. Tea and biscuits will be served after the walk at Willand Church hall.
