Mill House Retreats is only 5 miles away and offers an oasis to just take time out for rest and relaxation. It is in a beautiful setting with some lovely walks, has a fantastic Christian library and serves delicious food. A quiet day there offers a place to be alone or have some quiet time with a partner or friend. It offers space to reflect, listen, walk, read, sleep, laugh or cry. Lunch is provided and the cost to spend a day there is £15 per person (St Mary’s Church Uffculme is happy to pay half of this cost as we believe retreats and time out are at the very heart of our relationship with God and with one another) Rev Jane Taylor and her team offer a warm welcome and plenty of tea and coffee. The day is yours with the chance to meet for a simple lunch. By arrangement one of the team can find time to listen if this helps.
